~ Inspiration ~

Video game music is what got me into composition — perhaps a love for music in general. I believe music has the most potential for emotional impact when accompanied by adventure.

The leading cause for me to love a video game is the soundtrack, followed by the artistic immersion (the world), gameplay and the story.

Below is a list of my favourite games notably because of their score.
The experiences I’ve had playing these games are the spearhead of my passion for music composition.

  • World of Warcraft (played from Burning Crusade to Legion)

  • League of Legends (character themes)

  • Zelda series (Tears of the Kingdom as the leading game)

  • Skyrim

  • Final Fantasy series (Final Fantasy 13 as the leading game)

  • The Kingdom Hearts series (Kingdom Hearts 2 as the leading game)

  • Journey

  • Abzu

  • Guild Wars 2

  • The Pokémon series (Pokémon Diamond as the leading game)

  • Nier Automata

  • Bioshock Infinite

  • Life is Strange

  • Horizon Zero Dawn

  • Hades

  • Minecraft

  • Fez

  • Super Meat Boy

  • Red Dead Redemption 2

  • It Takes Two

  • Super Mario 3

  • Civilization V
